Firecracker 100
The Stephenville Kiwanis Club held the 2010 Firecracker 100 Bicycle Race/Ride on the Tarleton State University campus on Saturday, July 3rd.

Stephenville's very own, Courtney Patton Vanden Berge, provided the entertainment for the Firecracker 100 hot dog lunch which was provided for the riders.

WHAT CYCLISTS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE FIRECRACKER 100
IN STEPHENVILLE
ENTRY
FEE
$25 prior to, June 25th. $30 after June 25th.
Family groups of 4 or more (same family, i.e., father,
mother,
children) will be $20 each prior to June 25th and $25 each
after June 25th. Tandem riders are $35 for each pair of
cyclists.
T-shirt and goody bag are assured to the first 400 entries
only.

START/FINISH
AREA
All routes will start and finish at Tarleton State University
(TSU). Shower and dressing facilitiesas well as swimming pool with lifeguard are available
at TSU's Wisdom Gym.
PACKET
PICK-UP
Packets may be picked up for preregistration at the TSU
Gym (see web site for directions and look for signs) from
6 to 8 p.m., July 2nd, or from 6:00 a.m. to
ride start on Saturday, July 3rd..
ROAD
SUPPORT
SAG Wagons will travel the routes to provide assistance
as needed. (Guaranteed pick-up
for break-downs or YOUR MONEY BACK!) "Improved communications are provided by the (TAARC) Tarleton Area Amateur Radio Club. The Stephenville Kiwanis Club is very grateful to this wonderful group of HAM RADIO operators for adding to the quality of our event with their assistance in the communications area." Medical assistance
will be provided by South Point First Responders and Morgan Mill First Responders at each
Rest Stop & Support vehicles will be clearly
marked. Law enforcement agencies will provide traffic support along the bike routes and intersections. SUPPORT WILL
BE THE BEST EVER!
Non-sanctioned
race start time is 7:50 a.m. and all other rides at 8:00
a.m. All Rest Stops will close by 2 p.m.. Riders 12 years
old and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult.
